This design was created for Columbia College Chicago's gift shop, ShopColumbia. The shop features artwork from students, faculty, and alumni. The shirts were produced exclusively for ShopColumbia as a part of the Buy Columbia, By Columbia initiative to expand representation of artists. Two different color variations of the design were printed and are available for purchase in the shop and online. 

The design is inspired by typography because many students at Columbia College Chicago are designers. The shirts feature the school's name arranged in three different typefaces: Filosofia, Futura, and Bodoni. These typefaces each represent different qualities of serif and sans-serif type.
